The class size was good; it was fun to interact with the group and there was still a good level of individual attention from the teacher. Antonio was an excellent teacher too. As a solo traveller, I felt included in the group. It was such a treat to sit down at the end and enjoy the delicious food, not to mention the unlimited wine throughout! - 39PBJBABY6/12/2026We were definitely spoiled with the group we were with. We made immediate friends with them and that set the tone for our experience. Carlo, our instructor, is an absolute gem!! A human jukebox, he knows how to get the room of strangers comfortable using music we could all sing together. He had a very quick wit to keep the laughter going all while he kept us on target to make the best tiramisu as a group. With recipes from the night at our fingertips, we might just be living off those noodles for a while after we get back home.I can’t say enough good things about this experience. - Grayson Cardinali6/07/2026Im no stranger to pasta so believe it when I say, this food was maybe the best ive ever tasted, I dont know if its because we made it but it was unusually good. Our teacher, Alessandro, might be the best Italian you'll meet in in the country. Hes so friendly, hes very funny, he includes everyone, and got even the shy members of the group to open up and have fun with everyone. My family was already experienced with making homemade pasta and tiramisu, but this class was still worth doing. Nobody fell behind, instructions were easy to follow, and they kept the wine coming. Always do this class when you come to Florence, No excuses!Read moreRead less×Grayson Cardinali6/07/2026Im no stranger to pasta so believe it when I say, this food was maybe the best ive ever tasted, I dont know if its because we made it but it was unusually good. - Julianna Emanski5/28/2026We had an absolutely wonderful experience with The Roman Food Tour company in Rome! We did the Prati tour with Alessandra on our first day and the Trastevere tour with Leila on our last day, and both were highlights of our trip.Alessandra and Leila were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also warm, engaging, and so much fun to spend time with. Their personalities really made the tours feel special and personal rather than just informational. We loved hearing the stories behind the neighborhoods, restaurants, and Roman traditions while enjoying amazing food along the way. Every restaurant selection felt thoughtful and authentic. We also really appreciated the level of care from the company. There was a scheduling mishap where our tour time was first moved to 4 p.m. and then again to 5 p.m. after we had already arrived, but the team went above and beyond to make it right. They gave us a complimentary tour in another area of Rome and treated us with so many extra goodies throughout the restaurant stops. We truly felt taken care of and appreciated as guests.By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like spending time with friends while discovering Rome through food and local culture. The trappezino sandwiches were delicious, the charcuterie board was great in its variety and taste. The gelato at the end was the best we had in Rome. The pasta and pizza were ok, no different from what we’ve had on our own. Would have liked something else that I wouldn’t have had on my own.Read moreRead less×Missing SD5/23/2026We did the Trastevere food tour with Tone. She was awesome! - Isadora Pereira5/22/2026This was by far the highlight of our trip. Our chef Marcos was very nice and friendly, he helped when it was needed while letting us learn on our own. He made the class fun & the tiramisu was the best we had so far in this trip, and the tortellini turned out so good. I love how we got to eat our own. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and foods of Italy and the importance of regional differences for the quality. We were given a (generous) glass each of high quality Italian red and white wine, explained about it's origins and properties, then talked through an array of delicacies (prosciutto, truffles, pesto, cheeses) that paired with them. The trip rounded off with a local Gelato from a place nearby.Throughout it all Vivien was an exceptional host, friendly and inviting, taking questions from the group and making everyone feel a part of the experience. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone in Rome who wants to try some delicious food and wine and understand the cultural significance of it within ItalyRead moreRead less×George Sinclair5/21/2026Did our Italian wine and food tasting experience today with Vivien, and it was absolutely brilliant!
