Enoteca Cavour 3

Cavour 313 is the oldest wine bar in Rome, with over 1000 bottles on the wine list coming from across Italy. There is a good selection of cheese, cured meats and vegetable platters. 

Located in the Monti neighborhood close to the Colosseum, Enoteca Cavour 313 is a true wine institution in Rome

The food menu is Roman cuisine, simple and delicious.

Salotto 42

The Salotto 42 is situated in Piazza di Pietro, which is in between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, is considered to be one of the best bars in Rome, for wine as well as cocktails . It has a cool atmosphere, attracting a stylish crowd. 

From outside you can sip your drink, facing the 2nd century ruins of the Temple of Hadrian. 

Fortunato al Pantheon enoteca

Fortunato al Pantheon enoteca is the ultimate place for wine tasting in Rome. There is a choice of 90 wines, which can be tested with 3 levels to which your glass can be filled.

Take a seat on the long long communal table, with the options cheese and cured meats platters for wine pairing. The sommelier can provide advice and information if desired.

Del Frate

Del Frate is an elegant and modern wine bar located in the quiet pretty neighborhood of Prati, located near the Vatican City. There are thousands of labels available including wines, spirits and champagnes. Go for a glass of wine accompanied with an impressive range of appetisers or enjoy a meal with traditional dishes, recipes and delicious options available.

Ai Tre Scalini

Ai Tre Scalini has been offering fantastic wine and delicious food since 1985. The staff are charming and the food is honest and well priced. From the outside it is unmissable, with its ivy-coated walls and Italians pouring out onto the cobbled street, holding their glasses of wine. It is located in the beautiful neighborhood called Monti, which is a stone throw from the Colosseum. Arrive before 6:30 if you wish to sit down and make sure to try the truffle salami.

Bar del fico

Bar del fico is named after the fig tree in this picturesque square where this bar is located. There are locals playing chess, reading newspapers and people watching throughout the day, whereas sunset draws the stylish Romans and younger tourists to enjoy socializing and flirting. Breakfast and light lunches are served during the day and he all-you-can-eat aperitivo buffet (6pm-9pm) including a glass of wine for €5 or a cocktail for €8 offers a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

Stravinskij Bar

Stravinskij bar is a pretty and romantic bar situated inside Rocco Forte’s luxurious hotel de Russie. It is ideal on a sunny day, sat in the delightful garden courtyard for a glass of wine or cocktail with some delicious snacks. There is a secret garden a short walk from the courtyard offering an alternative experience. The head barman Massimo D’Azzedio’s award winning cocktails costing 20€ are a must try.

Camponeschi is an elegant wine bar located in a beautiful square in the historical center. There are fine wines served by the glass from Italy and France as well as sparkling wines and champaganes.
