The Taste of Trionfale tour, visits the largest food market in Rome along with a handful of locally loved restaurants. Your introduction to Italian cuisine begins with breakfast at a la Nicchia Cafè.

Next enjoy the best pizza in Rome at the legendary Pizzarium, recommended by Anthony Bourdain and countless bloggers. Famed baker Gabriele Bonci known as the ‘Michelangelo of pizza,’ creates more than 50 variations each day.

Following Pizzarium, visit La Nicchia Cafè gourmet food shop. Here try cheeses and cured meats, truffles, aged balsamic vinegars, olive oils and other treats.

Nothing puts you more in touch with the Roman culture than the Trionfale market, with its captivating characters, colours and sounds. Meet the families running these stalls and learn how to shop like a local.

The tour takes place Monday – Saturday at 10:45 a.m, in the neighborhood of Prati, located close to the Vatican City. The meeting point is La Nicchia Cafe located at Via Cipro 4 L. Your guide will be holding a bag saying ‘The Roman Food Tour’.

The tour ends near to the Ottaviano metro. Our guides can call you a taxi or point you in the right direction of the public transport.
