- M Eric Donlan9/08/2025Irene led our tour and she was both professional and knowledgeable we really like the choices of the restaurants we stopped to sample different meats, cheeses, wines, Prosecco, and pasta dishes. Everything was just perfect and there was plenty of food to go around for all of us at each stop. Sometimes we couldn’t even finish everything that was offered to us. The purveyors at each establishment were extremely friendly and welcoming, and provided us with the first class experience, to top it off. We even had excellent gelato. At Lemongrass Gelateria. This was a birthday event and they personalized it for us by giving us dessert and candles, which really made for a wonderful evening. Many many thanks to everyone, but especially. After that we tried a Trapizzino, a mix between a tramezzino and a pizza, and it was honestly one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in Italy. The tour continued with a fantastic dinner at a traditional restaurant, paired with excellent wines throughout the evening. There I had the best carbonara of my entire trip to Italy and it was simply unforgettable. We finished the tour with a gelato near the Vatican which was also excellent and the perfect way to end the evening. Our guide was amazing, explaining everything about the quality of the products and helping us understand why Romans and Italians in general value their ingredients so much and are so proud of their culinary culture. This was an outstanding experience and I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Italy.Read moreRead less×Sabrina Miranda vieira9/03/2025I joined The Roman Food Tour with my friend and it was absolutely incredible ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We started the experience with a glass of prosecco, several types of cheese, and even a 30-year aged balsamic vinegar which was truly fabulous. - Chris Colotti8/31/2025Giordano was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and we enjoyed his excitement about the food and wine. We understand how hard it is to fine young adults that love what they do but he was great. The food and wine was also just amazing everywhere we went. He chose some places we probably never would have found on our own. 5 stars all around for sure.Read moreRead less×Chris Colotti8/31/2025Giordano was absolutely amazing. - Lesley Bristol8/21/2025We attended this activity on 20/08/25 with a group of 12 other people. We initially started with a food tasting session of cheese, truffle and balsamic vinegar. We learned the history of these different foods. The actual pasta making activity was brilliant. Our host Patrick made it a fun and enjoyable experience. Everything was explained and modelled throughout with humour along the way especially with the children in our group. Very friendly and polite staff throughout the whole experience. High recommended. Thank you Patrick for making this an enjoyable experience to remember. Lesley & Jamal BRead moreRead less×Lesley Bristol8/21/2025We attended this activity on 20/08/25 with a group of 12 other people. - Jivan Sra8/18/2025Our host Giordano was great. He was very knowledgeable about all the wine & food we tasted. The restaurants we went to were also wonderful & welcoming. Our fellow tourists were fun to be around. It was our first time in Rome so it was nice to see a different area than where our hotel was; we wouldn’t have known to venture out like this. My fiancé and I are avid travellers and I must say this has been one of the best, most wholesome days, we’ve ever had on a holiday. Not only was the group just the perfect mix of nationalities and personalities, our guide Stefania, a local, was able to transmit her passion and love for all things Roman. In no time, we were all falling in love with local produce and wines. From decadent truffles, to prosciutto and formaggi, every stop in this tour is thought carefully. We met absolute legends along the way, Don Antonio and his family-run business, a delicatessen Italian shop filled with the best produce you’ll ever find! You get to try everything worth eating in Rome, and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Forget about overpriced touristic spots, you know you are onto something good when locals share where they eat with their family and friends. 1000% to Stefania and her charisma!Read moreRead less×Ana Fermin8/17/2025This tour - in one word - UNBELIEVABLE. - Katarzyna Kosyna8/11/2025Whole experience was very pleasant, Fiore is so polite and welcoming just like the rest of the staff. We arrived 1 hour early and the staff let us stay inside as it was so hot outside. They put the fans on for us and Air conditioning. They also gave us a jug of water. Fiore was very helpful and making the pasta was fun. Definitely worth the price. - asifa saied8/06/2025My family and I had the pleasure of doing the pasta & tiramisu cooking class and I’m so glad we did! Everything from start to finish was excellent. The hosts Lise and Patrick, were wonderful. Both very funny, which made our group relax and have fun with each other. The tasting hour was very good and Lise had a wealth of knowledge about the different cheese, pesto and bruschetta, which we sampled. Drinks were free flowing and unlimited. Next we were taken to a restaurant to cook our own pasta and make tiramisu. Patrick again was a great host and made sure everyone joined in. There was lively chatter, music, cooking and enjoyment. The demonstrations were easy to follow although Patrick and his colleagues did help out those who were struggling. All in all it was a wonderful experience which our family really enjoyed. I’d highly recommend doing this when in Rome.
